General / About ADR

What makes ADR Packaging different from larger packaging suppliers?
ADR specializes in short-run, highly customized orders that larger manufacturers typically won't take on. We work directly with your team to design packaging to your exact specifications — size, shape, material, and performance requirements — with fast turnaround times. We've been doing this since 1999.

Where is ADR Packaging located and do you ship nationally?
We're based in Lindon, Utah. We serve B2B customers across the United States. All of our manufacturing is US-based, which also means our products are not subject to tariffs on imported goods.

What industries does ADR Packaging serve?
We serve a wide range of industries including defense and military, medical and cremation services, electronics, manufacturing, and any business that needs custom-engineered protective packaging. If your product has unusual dimensions, fragility, or compliance requirements, we're built for it.

Is ADR Packaging a manufacturer or a distributor?
We are a manufacturer. We design and produce packaging in-house using corrugated, foam, and wood — which means better quality control, faster turnaround, and the ability to customize to precise specifications.
Quoting & Process

How do I get a quote from ADR Packaging?
The easiest way is to submit a quote request on our website. Tell us about your product, quantity, and any requirements — we'll follow up quickly to ask the right questions and get you a price. You can also call us at (801) 796-3700 or sed an email to sales@adrpackaging.com.

What information do I need to provide to get an accurate quote?
It helps to know the dimensions and weight of the item being packaged, your required quantity, any special requirements (MIL-SPEC, drop-test ratings, moisture resistance, etc.), and your target ship date. Don't worry if you don't have everything — we'll guide you through the process.

What is ADR Packaging's minimum order quantity?
Short runs are our specialty. We work with quantities that many larger suppliers won't bother with. Contact us with your project details and we'll let you know what's feasible.

How fast is your turnaround?
Turnaround depends on product complexity and current production volume, but quick turnaround is a core part of what we offer. We understand that packaging delays can hold up your entire operation, so we work to move fast. Contact us for a timeline specific to your project.
Products & Materials

What materials does ADR Packaging work with?
Our three core materials are corrugated (for boxes, fastpacks, and custom die-cut packaging), foam (polyethylene and polyurethane for cushioning and inserts), and wood (custom crates and pallets). Many projects use multiple materials types.

Can ADR Packaging design packaging from scratch?
Yes — custom design is what we do. Our team will work with you to prototype and refine a solution for your specific product. We handle design, production, and delivery.

Does ADR produce MIL-SPEC packaging?
Yes. MIL-SPEC packaging has been part of our business since we were founded in 1999. We also offer a Capabilities Statement for government and defense procurement teams.

What is an EcorrCrate?
The EcorrCrate is a hybrid solution that combines the strength of a wood crate with the lightweight properties of corrugated material. It's a cost-effective alternative to traditional wood crating for shipments that need rigid protection without the full weight and cost of solid wood.

Do you offer foam inserts and custom foam shapes?
Yes. We produce custom polyethylene and polyurethane foam products including die-cut inserts, case lining, pelican case foam, foam sheets, and molded shapes. Foam is often combined with corrugated or wood crates for complete protective packaging.

Can you produce custom pallets?
Yes. We design and build custom pallets to match your load dimensions, weight requirements, and handling specifications — including heat-treated wood for international shipments.
Shipping & Logistics

What are your shipping hours?
Our shipping dock operates Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm and Friday 8:30am–11:30am MT.

Do you offer warehousing or just-in-time delivery?
Yes — we offer warehousing, fulfillment, and just-in-time delivery as part of our service offering. This is especially useful for customers with ongoing, recurring packaging needs who want to avoid storing large quantities on-site.
Tariffs & US Manufacturing

Are ADR Packaging products affected by tariffs on imported goods?
Very rarely. Because most of our manufacturing is done in the United States, our products are not usually subject to tariffs on imported packaging. This makes ADR a cost-stable and supply-chain-resilient choice compared to overseas packaging suppliers.
